Ravindra Puttewar
A graduate, entrepreneur and global connector focused on building trusted businesses and using technology to create wider opportunity.
From Graduate to Entrepreneur
At 20, Ravindra Puttewar was a fresh graduate, with the beginnings of a career in electronics sales and a strong sense that he wanted to build something of his own. Growing up in a teacher’s household in India had given him an appreciation for discipline, education and doing things properly. Sales taught him something different: having the right product was only part of the equation. Business was really about understanding people, earning their trust and finding a way to solve the problem in front of them.
In 1999, Ravindra took the leap. He moved to Nagpur and co-founded an import-export business serving the rapidly growing IT and telecom sector. It was an education no classroom could provide — how products moved across borders, how supply chains worked, how relationships opened doors and how quickly things could unravel when communication and accountability were missing. Five years later, he was ready to build something bigger.
The beginning of Aditi
It started in mobile and telecom, but Ravindra never saw Aditi as simply a business that sold technology. The opportunity was to make technology easier for customers to access, implement and manage. Mobile and telecom led to enterprise IT. Sourcing grew into customised solutions. Distribution expanded into integration, implementation and ongoing support. Listen first. Understand what the customer is really trying to achieve. Then work out how to make it happen.
That approach also shaped the way he built Aditi's international network. Rather than trying to do everything alone, he invested in relationships with manufacturers, distributors, specialists and local partners. Over time, those relationships became part of Aditi's competitive strength: the ability to operate globally while still understanding what needs to happen on the ground.
Then the question became bigger
As the Group grew, Ravindra began looking beyond traditional technology projects. He had seen small farmers and producers struggle to reach buyers and navigate the complexity of international markets — people had something of value, yet the connections needed to reach the right market were missing. That became the thinking behind Aditi Agri: using technology, international trade experience and Aditi’s network to make those connections easier and create better access to opportunity.
Innovation with purpose
The same philosophy now runs through Adinex AI and AuraPlate™, where technology is being applied to a very different challenge: helping aviation businesses plan more intelligently and reduce avoidable food waste. Different industries. Different problems. But the question Ravindra keeps asking is much the same: where is something unnecessarily difficult, disconnected or wasteful, and how can we make it work better?
The business he wants to build
More than two decades after launching Aditi, Ravindra still believes business is built on relationships before transactions — being clear when conversations are difficult, being fair when there is an easier option, respecting the realities of local markets and resisting the temptation to pursue technology simply because it is new. Today, Ravindra continues to shape Aditi Group’s direction, partnerships and next generation of businesses. The bigger goal is to build a Group that connects people, technology and markets in ways that create genuine opportunity, without losing the trust and values that made those connections possible in the first place.
Built through relationships. Growing through trust.
